My work has been published in five languages and distributed around the world through my business writing for custom publications. Whether the topic is medical, scientific, eco-tourism, real estate, celebrity marketing or environmental innovations, I am a quick study dedicated to researching your topic and translating it into an interesting read that helps readers understand and appreciate your work.

I enjoy championing entrepreneurship and independent business people in business profiles and features for consumer magazines, custom publications and newspapers. I also write frequently on the environmental issues faced by businesses, with an eye toward helping businesses to learn and develop more sound environmental practices by providing them with knowledge and understanding of the issues at hand. Quite often businesses discover that going green is a great way to save money.

Marketing

I enjoy the creative process of designing advertising concepts and copy, and have found a nice niche in writing advertorials - honest, straight-forward editorial copy that can be used to describe, thus help to promote, products and businesses. Several of my "editorial" clients are actually custom publishers who create magazines for companies, like Sam's Club Source Magazine, airline magazines such as Meridian Magazine and Drive Magazine, published by Subaru and sent to its half-million owners around the world.

A recent advertising job was a series of articles and celebrity profiles for a beautiful, oversized color glossy magazine published by the Gardens Mall of the Palm Beaches. The luxury holiday gift guide, created by a New Jersey advertising agency, provides a lovely display of my work, and includes profiles of Donna Karan, Jimmy Buffett, Chris Evert, John Lithgow, Jack Nicklaus and Marie Hale, founder of the Palm Beach Ballet. I've also profiled Sheryl Cooper, wife of infamous rocker Alice, when she started her own dance studio in Arizona.

I have written copy for First Look Magazine of Nova Southeastern University for two annual issues. The magazine is used to provide information about the school to prospective students, and features articles about each of the 12 schools within the university. I also worked with an NSU executive team to create an ad for the university which ran in Forbes Magazine, and contributed to a marketing collateral piece for the Fischler Graduate School of Education and Human Services at NSU.

I have created and contributed to newsletters for corporations, hospitals and universities, covered conferences and conventions to produce conference dailies.
